Rev. Dr. Lisa Waltz, ND, DD, CNC;

Rev. Dr. Lisa Waltz, ND, DD, CNC and Rev. Dr. EarthAngel are one and the same. I was given the nickname of EarthAngel many years ago when teaching about Nature to Cub Scouts, and it has stuck throughout the years. Considering its origins, and my path in life, it fits me well!

I am a nationally certified Naturopathic Doctor, certified by the American Naturopathic Medical Certification & Accreditation Board of Washington, DC., and a member of the American Naturopathic Medical Association (ANMA). I work towards teaching people preventative natural medicine and proper nutrition, while treating what ails them - an ounce of prevention truly is worth a pound of cure, especially in today's world. I have been working with medicinal herbs for over 17 years. I own and operate the Natural Wellness Center, a clinic for everyone, free of discrimination.

I am also the owner/author of this world-renowned web site The Herbal Encyclopedia, and author of "The Herbal Encyclopedia - A Practical Guide to the Many Uses of Herbs".You will find my quote on the back of the book by Dr. James A. I am a Certified Nutritional Consultant, and I am a professional member of the American Association of Nutritional Consultants (AANC).

I am a legally ordained minister with a Doctorate in Divinity, working towards a PhD in Religion. I am non-denominational, and focus on individual spirituality, not organized religions as such. I do perform weddings, funerals, and all the usual things a minister does (and am available to do so for everyone, with no discrimination!), but tend to teach, counsel, and guide more often. I am the Minister of my own Church, the Universal Life Church of One Spirit - a place to worship and grow spiritually free of restrictions, free of discrimination, and following an earth-based path and open to people of ALL religions searching for what is missing and seeking to learn about other spiritual paths.

I also own and operate Waltz's Ark, an organic endeavor in raising medicinal herbs, produce, and livestock.

My web site has been here for over 7 years. It is meant to be a quick guide for many of the most popular herbs, not the definitive last word on anything offered here. There are thousands of medicinal herbs around the world, so it would be difficult to name them all, much less tell what each of them is all about. It is not meant to replace the guidance of your health professional, but to educate and motivate. Please do seek proper professional guidance before attempting any self-medication.
