Treating Ovarian Cysts and Uterine Fibroids Aloe Vera herbs obesity - weight and associated problems Disability UK

Ovarian cysts and uterine fibroids are a leading cause of pain, excessive menstrual bleeding, and infertility in women. Both are usually benign, but you should be tested to make sure. The most common method of treatment is surgery, but there are times when surgery is not an option, or is not desired. Surgery can sometimes cause more to form, but if the cyst or fibroid is overly large or is interfering with other body functions, it should probably be removed. Synthetic hormone therapies are also used as a treatment. If hysterectomy is recommended, please seek a second or third opinion before taking that option.

Herbal treatments have proven to be effective for this problem. It usually takes three to six months to be completely effective, depending upon the size and number of the cysts or fibroids. You should at the same time as treatment cleanse and support the liver, as the liver helps to regulate hormone levels in the body, and helps to cleanse the blood. Diet is also very important, as some foods can aggravate the condition, and some foods are very beneficial in controlling the recurrence of cysts and fibroids.

Foods that help ease the discomfort and recurrence include plenty of raw fruits and vegetables (especially dark green leafy veggies), garlic, legumes, whole grains, and other whole foods. Avoid caffeine, alcohol, red meats, eggs, fat, white sugar, carbonated beverages, and processed and refined foods. Stick to a natural diet, and you will do better physically.

A typical, very general herbal treatment for these conditions is as follows:
3 capsules vitex
3 capsules black cohosh
2 capsules dandelion root
2 capsules black haw
1 capsule pau d' arco
1 capsule chaparral
1 capsule bee pollen
Take this combination twice per day. This should be taken from the second week of your cycle to the time menstruation begins.

From the beginning of menstruation to the second week of your cycle:
3 capsules blue cohosh
3 capsules black cohosh
3 capsules milk thistle
2 capsules wild yam
1 capsule yarrow
1 capsule pau d'arco
1 capsule chaparral
1 capsule bee pollen
Take this combination twice per day.

You should also supplement daily with vitamins A, E, and C, as well as chlorophyll.

Continue alternating these therapies for a minimum of three months, continuing up to one year, depending on the length and severity of the problem. Bear in mind that the above is a GENERAL suggestion only, for maximum effectiveness you should have a regimen that is matched to your specific individual body and its needs. Seek the guidance of a trained certified professional if you do not have the training yourself to do this.

Make use of relaxation and visualization techniques, envisioning the fibroids and cysts shrinking and disappearing every day. Use castor oil fomentations at least three times per week over the pelvic region. Make sure to get daily mild exercise, working your way up in exercise type and amount as the pain lessens each week.
