Cult
Cult is a freeware game by Lee Blum. Using negotiation and trade, one must resolve a situation involving barricaded cultists in a villa two kilometers away from town. As you play, you wander around the villa, meeting some of the brainwashed cult members (and some reasonable people). You talk to them, find out what they want, and trade items with them for information. You learn a little about the social structure of the cult and even get to save some lives. Advancing from room to room, you find keys to locked doors and operate switches to remove barriers. Today we witness too much blood in games when we want to solve problems. As the author of this game, living in the middle east, I want to show that problems can be solved by negotiation, and bloodshed can be avoided. There should be some games that portray negotiation as a peaceful - and viable - solution.

Adventure Blaster
Adventure Blaster is a collection of 10 interactive fiction (text adventure) games. It includes a wide variety of stories, from mystery and suspense, to fantasy, comedy, and futuristic spy stories. It includes four beginner games, three intermediate games, and three advanced games. Many of the games include hints, clues, solutions, and walkthroughs.

Monster Pile
Monster Pile is a Wario's Woods-like game in which players compete to remove all of the monsters from their playfield before their opponent does. Players move around the playfield picking up monsters and moving them about so that they can be lined up with colorful bombs and blown up. Players can compete over the internet, or on two networked computers. Monster Pile can also be played in the solo Round Game where a single player, or two players working as a team, race against time and the lowering ceiling to survive as many rounds as they can. The rounds get harder as you progress, so it's a great way to sharpen your competition skills. Laser Kombat

African Geography Tutor
Want to brush up on the names and locations of the 50 or so countries of modern Africa? This program from the Family Games Web Center will help you. African Geography Tutor presents a scrolling map of Africa along with a list of countries. As your mouse pointer passes over the map, the country under the pointer highlights, along with its entry in the list. Simply browse the map until you feel ready, then try either of the two self-test modes. In Find Countries mode, you are asked to click a country on the map given its name. In Identify Countries mode, you are asked to click the name in the list corresponding to the country that is highlighted on the map. Mnemonic Curve
Mnemonic Curve is fundamentally a game. The object of the game is to remember and repeat a sequence of mouse-clicks within a group of circles. Mnemonic Curve demonstrates two principles governing our ability to remember a sequence of choices. 1) Length: A longer sequence of choices is more difficult to remember than a shorter sequence of choices. 2) Complexity: A sequence of N choices in which each choice involves many possibilities is more difficult to remember than a sequence of N choices in which each choice involves only a few possibilities.

This program was built to assist in the laborious task of building a good Pokemon Card Deck. Two dropdown lists include all Pokemon and Trainer cards that, when selected, display all card information (level, attacks, etc.) and a scanned graphic of the creature. As you build, pop up building helps will prompt. Many validations are built in to insure a legal playing deck. Save, view and print your deck lists.
