The classic physical signs are - tremor, rigidity and bradykinesia. Idiopathic
Parkinson's disease is caused by the progressive loss of dopaminergic neurons
in the substantia nigra and nigrostriatal pathway of the midbrain. Secondary parkinsonism
may be caused by certain drugs.
